ALTMANS PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING WARRANTIES TO THE ORIGINAL RESIDENTIAL PURCHASER.

Subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty, Altmans warrants all products as stated in the terms below.

Limited Lifetime Finish Warranty

All finishes are warranted from tarnishing, flaking pitting and discoloration for as long as the original residential purchaser owns their home.

Mechanical Warranty

If a defect is found in normal residential use within one year of purchase, Altmans will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment.  Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, abuse or any use other than genuine Altmans replacement parts is not covered by this warranty.  Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Altmans with all warranty claims.  To obtain warranty service, contact Altmans through your Altmans Representative.  Be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a complete description of the problem, the product, model number, finish and the date of purchase.  Also, include your original invoice.  Altmans is not responsible for any labor charges, installation, or there consequential costs.  In no event shall the responsibility of Altmans exceed the purchase price of the product.

Finish Warranty Conditions

Altmans Products, LLC places the following conditions on its finish & mechanical warranties to the original residential purchaser only:

·         Altmans finish and mechanical warranties are limited to products correctly installed (using Altmans installation instructions) and used in a residential environment.

·         Altmans excludes all finishes exposed to the outside marine environment and direct exposure to sunlight.

·         Plating finishes vary in appearance.

Faucets

Altmans warrants this faucet to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.  If this faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Altmans will, free of charge; mail you a replacement Lav or Deck cartridge to put the faucet in working condition.  Important:  Lifetime warranty applies to

Due to nature of certain finishes, environmental changes and time will alter the appearance of various changes; therefore Altmans is unable to guarantee color matching in these cases. 

What is not covered:  This warranty does not cover the drain assembly or aerator for all finishes except PVD & Chrome finishes.  This warranty also does not cover damage caused by accident, alterations, misuse, abuse, improper installation, hard water, mineral deposits, soft water systems; exposure to corrosive materials, or use in any manner contrary to Altmans printed installation instructions or intended use.  This warranty is extended in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties, whether oral or written.

Many installation compounds are harmful to brass and other metal finishes.  The use of any lead based acidic curing adhesive, mastic, or plumbers putty on or near Altmans products will void the finish warranty.  Use only sealants, which are neutral curing and are not reactive with metal and brass finishes.  The use of ammoniated or abrasive cleaners or water softeners also voids the finish and mechanical warranty.

Any implied warranties including that of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to the duration of our expresses warranty.  Altmans disclaims any liability for special, incidental, or consequential damages.  This warranty is to the original residential purchaser only, and excludes product damage due to installation error, product abuse, or product misuse, whether performed by a contractor, service company, or the consumer.

If this faucet is used in commercial or any non residential use, Altmans warrants the faucet to be free from defects in finish, material and workmanship for one (1) year from date of purchase as shown on the invoice or receipt.  Any implied warranties for product used in commercial or any non residential use, including that of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may other rights, which may vary from state to state.

Altmans reserves the right to improve, alter or change the appearance, design and technical specifications of its products and any of its supplies at any time and without notice.

Care & Cleaning

Like anything of lasting quality, Altmans faucets & fittings require a certain amount of periodic care to preserve the finish and comply with the warranty.  Clean you Altmans faucet or fitting with a mild soap, promptly rinse with warm water and dry with a clean, soft cloth.  Never use abrasive cleaners, chemical cleaners, alcohol or solvents for cleaning, as they will damage the finish.  Also, by taking the time to dry your faucet after each use, soap and water deposits can be prevented.

Failure to comply with these care instructions may void Altmans warranty obligations.
