American-Standard warrants to the original consumer purchaser that it will, at its option, repair or replace any of its plumbing products found by it to be defective under normal use and maintenance within the following periods from date of purchase: Electronic Components - two (2) years; Pump Motors - two (2) years; Fittings and Plumbing - two (2) years; Shell - three (3) years. In the event of a limited warranty claim proof of purchase will be required—save sales receipt.
This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER the following:

1. Defects or damage arising from shipping, installation, alterations, accidents, abuse, misuse, lack of proper maintenance and use of other than genuine American-Standard replacement parts, in all cases whether caused by a plumbing contractor, service company, the owner or any other person.

2. Deterioration through normal wear and tear.

3. Expense of normal maintenance - periodic replacement of washers, seals, etc. is a normal maintenance requirement.

4. IN NO EVENT WILL AMERICAN STANDARD BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY INSTALLATION MATERIALS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TILES, MARBLE ETC.

5. Postage or shipping costs for returning products for repairs or replacement under this limited warranty and labor or other costs incurred in connection with product removal or installation under this limited warranty.

6. ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, ALL OF WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED, OR THE EXTENSION BEYOND THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OF ANY IMPLIED LIMITED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR AN INTENDED PURPOSE. (Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied limited warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.)

7. Responsibility for compliance with local code requirement. (Since code requirements vary greatly, distributors, dealers, installation con-tractor and users of plumbing products should determine whether there are any code restrictions on the installation or use of a specific product.)

8. If a whirlpool unit is purchased by a dealer and used as a demonstration unit the limited warranty takes effect as soon as the dealer uses the product as a demo. If this demonstration unit is subsequently sold to a customer, the dealer may transfer the remaining period of the limited warranty to the buyer only with American-Standard written approval.

Americast® Limited Lifetime Warranty

If an American-Standard Americast® brand product is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, after inspection by an authorized American-Standard representative, American-Standard will repair or, at its option, exchange the product for a similar model. This limited warranty extends for the lifetime of the product, so long as it remains in use in its original place of installation, except that the limited warranty applies to a bathing vessel’s slip-resisting surface only for the first year after the product’s initial installation.
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and installation of these products. In the event of a limited warranty claim, proof of purchase will be required—save sales receipt.

This limited warranty does not apply to whirlpool components or to faucets, drains, mounting rims, grab bars or other accessories. If manufactured or supplied by American-Standard, such whirlpool components and accessories are covered under separate limited warranties.

This limited warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. Since local building codes vary considerably, the purchaser of this product should check with a local building or plumbing contractor to assure local code compliance before installation.

This limited warranty is void if the Americast® brand product has been moved from its initial place of installation; if it has been subjected to faulty maintenance, abuse, misuse, accident or other damage; if it was not installed in accordance with American-Standard’s instructions; or if it was modified in a manner inconsistent with the product as shipped by American-Standard.

American-Standard's option to repair or exchange the product under this limited warranty does not cover any labor or other costs of removal or installation. CADET® 3 TOILET FIVE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Colony Whirlpools Limited Five Year Warranty


American Standard warrants to the original consumer purchaser that it will, at its option, repair or replace this whirlpool or any of its parts that are found by American Standard, in its sole judgment, to be defective under normal residential use and maintenance so long as it is owned by the original consumer purchaser.

To activate this limited warranty, the purchaser must go online to our website at www.americanstandard-us.com/whirlpoolwarranty to register their whirlpool, or the accompanying warranty registration card must be completed and returned to the address on the warranty registration card within thirty (30) days of purchase.

THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE VOID IF THE ACCESS PANEL TO THE WHIRLPOOL IS COVERED IN ANY MANNER CONTRARY TO THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.

This Warranty shall be void if Whirlpool Models 2425L, 7236L, 2771L, 2422LA, and 2422TUB are installed without an American Standard Lifetime™ drain. In no event will American Standard be liable for the cost of repair or replacement of any installation materials including but not limited to tile, marble, etc.

This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER the following:

If, within ten years after its initial purchase, inspection of the Corian portion of this American Standard product confirms that it is defective in materials or workmanship, American Standard will repair or, at its option, exchange the product for a similar model or refund the purchase price.
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and installation of these products. In the event of a limited warranty claim, proof of purchase will be required—save sales receipt. All labor and transportation costs or charges incidental to limited warranty service are to be borne by the original consumer-purchaser.

Faucet Lifetime Function and Finish Warranty


American-Standard warrants this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home.
American-Standard will provide, free of charge, at it’s sole option, replacement part(s) or product (or if no longer available, a comparable product) to replace those which have proven defective in materials or workmanship.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to American-Standard for all limited warranty claims. This limited warranty is non transferable. It does not apply in the event of product damage due to the use of other than genuine American-Standard replacement parts, installation error, abuse, misuse, or improper care and maintenance (whether performed by a plumber, contractor, service provider or member of the purchaser’s household). The limited warranty excludes damage due to aggressive air or water conditions, or harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials. This limited warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, whose purchasers are hereby extended a two year limited warranty (with the exception of solenoid valves and other electronic components which carry a one year limited warranty) applying to all other terms of this limited warranty except duration. This limited warranty does not cover labor charges incurred and/or damages sustained in installation, repair or replacement, nor incidental or consequential damages, all of which are expressly disclaimed. This limited warranty is applicable only to American-Standard faucets manufactured after June 1, 1996 and installed in the United States and/or Canada.

This limited warranty gives the original consumer purchaser of an America-Standard faucet specific legal rights which may vary from state to state or from province to province. Repair Parts One Year Warranty


American-Standard warrants that its plumbing products shall be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year after initial installation (unless otherwise specified in writing). If an inspection by an authorized American Standard representative within one year of initial installation discloses that any of its repair parts or other plumbing products are defective in materials or workmanship. American Standard will repair or, at its option, exchange the product for a similar model or product or make a refund for the product.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and installation of these products.

This warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. Since local code requirements vary greatly throughout the country, Distributors, Authorized Service Representative, Dealers, Installation Contractors and users of plumbing products should determine whether there are any code restrictions applicable in any way to the product to insure local code compliance before installation. Stainless Steel Sink Lifetime Warranty


American-Standard warrants to the original purchaser consumer of an American-Standard stainless steel sink that it will, at its option, repair or replace such product if it is found by American-Standard, in its sole judgment, to be defective under normal residential use, provided that it has been installed and maintained in accordance with American-Standard's instructions. This limited warranty applies only to the initial installation and is not transferable from the original consumer purchaser. In the event of a limited warranty claim, proof of purchase will be required – save sales receipt.
This limited lifetime warranty DOES NOT COVER the following:

1.
