Platts emigrated from Sheffield, England in 1864, and he brought with him the knife making skills that would help build the cutlery industry in America. These knives are a fitting tribute to the legacy of C. Platt's Sons Cutlery Company, one of the original Case family brands. These beautiful knives feature genuine stag handles thata are hand-crafted and treated over open flame, and each bears the historic propeller shield. The Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades are tang stamed with C. Platts' logo and imprint. 52083 SS Clip and short clip blades 3 1/2" closed; 2.1 oz.
