What does the cold shot do?
It cools down the hair while styling it. After you've finished drying and styling your hair, push the cold shot button to release a burst of cool air which will help to set the style.
How do you clean the filter?
If your dryer has a removable filter, you can wash it with warm water and soap after removal. Be sure to let it dry thoroughly before putting it back on the dryer. If the filter is not removable, brush it towards the outside of the the dryer with a toothbrush to remove buildup.
Can I replace the spring?
Yes, on all models except the Revlon RV050, RV051, RV052, and RV056 series. Because of laws, we are not allowed to sell springs to consumers in situations where they must open the appliance to replace the spring.
Can I use hair spray or curling gels in my hair while styling it with a curling iron?
We do not recommend it. Using additives could cause the iron to overheat and burn your hair.
Why is there no on/off switch?
We found that most customers prefer to unplug and plug in the units as a safety precaution.
Why do I have to turn my massager off after 15 minutes of use?
You must give the motors a chance to cool down. They you may turn them on again. Extensive use for longer than fifteen minutes may damage the unit.
Can I use only the heat?
Yes. Separate heat and speed selectors allow you to use the heat only mode to help loosen sore muscles, much like a heating pad.
