Stainless steel Honeycomb wash drum -Forged from the very best stainless steel with a unique convex pattern that resembles a honeycomb, the drum enhances both cleaning performance and reduces fabric wear. The by-product of this patented advancement is an 80% reduction in the number of water exit holes and a network of water channels that create a thin water layer that cushions your clothes while the drum rotates.

PC Update function - Miele was the first manufacturer to introduce the revolutionary concept of updatable machines. Thanks to the PC Update function, you can now keep up with technological advances. For example, using a laptop computer, a Miele technician can alter a machine's programming parameters to reduce its electricity consumption or even adapt it for a new type of garment care.

Advanced Touchtronic Controls - Most people own a very diverse range of clothing, linen, tableware and so on, all requiring different, special treatments. From silks and blended items to woolens and mixed fabric garments, you can clean these items easily, effectively and most importantly, with great care. Miele's Touchtronic series offers more to clean silks and other delicate hand washables you would normally dry clean.

Delicates - For delicate items made from synthetics
Extra-white - For white items without special hygienic requests
Handwash - Hand washable items which do not contain wool or silk
Normal - Items made from cottons, linen or mixed fabrics
Sanitize - Items which have skin contact or for special hygienic requests
Silk - Silk and hand washable items which do not contain wool
Sturdy - for a mixed load of colorfast or permanent press items, or for cotton blends
Woolens - Items made from washable wool or mixed woolens
Wrinkle-free - Items made from synthetics, mixed fabrics or wrinkle free cottons.

Create your own Custom wash program - A custom wash program is one in which you create your own program by setting your temperature, spin speed and other options, such as Heavy Soil, Extended, Soak, Sensitive or Buzzer

Extended option - For laundry with normal to heavy soiling or stains. the main wash cycle time for the wash program is extended.

Heavy soil option - This useful program option includes a special pre-wash cycle that thoroughly and effectively cleans heavily-soiled laundry.

Sensitive option - An additional final rinse washes away detergent residue and scents.

Buzzer option - A buzzer signals the end of the wash program or after "Hold". The buzzer sounds until the washer is turned off. The buzzer volume can be adjusted.
