A shower takes up precious space in the bathroom - but does it really have to? The EOOS group of designers gave the thumbs-down to this state of affairs and set about developing the innovative OpenSpace shower partition, which transforms after showering from a fully fledged corner shower into a discreet wall panel. In combination with the floor-flush DuraPlan shower tray, this space-saving principle unfolds to perfection.
This is the first shower partition to make the bathroom larger: Two self-locking glass doors fitted in the frame, in translucent design or featuring a mirror on one side, are simply folded away against the wall after showering. This avoids a rail protruding into the room, the tap fittings and shower hose are concealed and the bathroom appears much larger.
The door profile incorporates a lifting and lowering mechanism. As a result, when moved, the doors are lowered continuously until they reach a shower position of 90 degrees. This guarantees optimum protection against splashing. The doors can be opened further to facilitate cleaning and are raised again automatically until they reach 180 degrees. |
