The grandest of tropical hardwoods, teak is valued for its durability, sophisticated look and resistance to the elements. Proteak’s densely rich and finely crafted teak wood products provide lasting satisfaction with minimal care.
Proteak Renewable Forestry has created a distinctive line of teak wood products ranging from cutting boards and butcher block carts to countertops and specialty items. All products are manufactured from plantation teak grown in accordance with strict environmental and social considerations. Furthermore, Proteak is vertically integrated, ensuring the highest levels of quality control from planting and harvesting to final manufacturing and distribution.
From Proteak’s inception in 2001, environmental and social considerations have been an integral component of the company’s operating philosophy. Following years of responsible forestry practices, Proteak is pleased to have earned a Forest Management certificate from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The following bullets provide a snapshot of Proteak’s contribution to environmental and social sustainability.
